Our Advanced Practitioner Team
Physician Assistants (PA-c) and Certified Nurse Practitioners (CNP) are essential to iSpine Clinic’s mission to provide exceptional pain management care and support our Twin Cities patients in their chronic pain journey. A physician Assistant (PA-c) is a graduate of an accredited physician assistant educational program who has undergone testing by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. They go through 8 years of post-high school education, and are state-licensed to practice medicine with a supervising physician.
A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) is a registered nurse who has advanced education and training in a particular area, such as pediatrics or family practice. The educational background of a CNP includes a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) graduate degree, as well as board certification in their specialty. Advanced Practitioners at iSpine Clinics help to assess, diagnose and treat, order imaging, and prescribe medication.
